The upgraded intercooler is in the front, between the turbocharger and the intake manifold installed. It is simply exchanged for the original 1:1. The aim of an intercooler is that the air heated by the turbocharger is cooled down. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass gets into the combustion chamber with the same volume and more fuel can be burned, which increases performance and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, because it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine has slightly better exhaust gas values, provided the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much wind as possible. The coolers can be used in supercharged diesel and petrol engines. The LLK offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes and has a Bar'n Plate network, ideal for motor sports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery
